Former 2-time national champ Taylor puts on clinic

Former Penn State wrestler David Taylor accomplished a lot in his time with the Nittany Lions wrestling program. He was named a four-time Division-I All-American wrestler and twice was a Division-I national champion. He was part of Penn State’s four consecutive Division-I team wrestling national titles as well.

Taylor showcased what made him a talented wrestler on Saturday at Montgomery High School as he put on an area wrestling clinic.

The clinic was hosted by the Dog Pound Wrestling Club and Montgomery Junior-Senior High Wrestling. It included 70 wrestlers from elementary school through high school ages.

Taylor was a four-time state champion in Ohio before he went to Penn State. The former Nittany Lion wrestler competed at 86-kg at the U.S. World Team Trials in June.
