Golf tip of the week: Control accuracy with the shoulders

PHOTO PROVIDED The shoulders control ball direction.

Most golfers are taught to open up their stance and shoulders for shorter shots.

Try opening up the hips and the feet while keeping the shoulders parallel to the intended target line.

The shoulders are the most important sights on the body. Golfers would improve their accuracy by squaring up their shoulders and opening up the lower body.

The hips and feet should be slightly open to allow freedom to swing. Power is not the primary concern here.

Don’t forget to enjoy this great game called golf.
