ROUNDUP: Lewisburg girls soccer loses despite outshooting Ironmen
Despite outshooting Danville and having an advantage in corner kicks, the Lewisburg girls soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to the Ironmen on Monday.
Danville scored both its goals in the first half and scored on two of the three shots it had. Chloe Hoffman and Kendall Thompson each scored on Kylie Dewald assists in the first half. Maddison Cardello had the Green Dragons’ lone goal.
• Williamsport’s Mia Shuler posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles as the Millionaires defeated Milton, 5-0.
Katie Meale added a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles for Williamsport, which ran its season-opening winning streak to seven matches.
