Bald Eagles can’t rally vs. WCU
WEST CHESTER — The Lock Haven University football team totaled 288 yards of offense on the day, but it wasn’t enough as the Bald Eagles fell to No. 11 West Chester, 48-14, on Saturday.
The Golden Rams jumped out to a 10-0 lead to start the game midway through the first quarter, but LHU responded with a four-play, 65-yard drive that was capped off by a 25-yard touchdown run by Ralph Hyland to cut the deficit to 10-7.
LHU was able to put another touchdown on the board late in the game when Cameron Tobias led the Bald Eagles on an eight-play, 71-yard drive that ended with a 14-yard touchdown pass.
Tobias finished the game 13 for 23 through the air for 181 yards and the touchdown to Greene.
