Williamsport has 5 softball, 5 baseball players honored

Five Williamsport baseball players and five Williamsport softball players were honored as Central Penn League all-stars. In addition, Williamsport’s Chase Smith was named Central Penn League Coach of the Year in softball.

The Millionaires’ softball team was the league champion.

Williamsport catcher Drake Mankey, infielders Brayton Rowello and Kyle Caringi and outfieldeder Dallas Griess all earned league honors for the Millionaires, as did pitcher Jonathan Zayas.

In addition to Smith being named the softball Coach of the Year, Williamsport had two infielders, two outfielders and a pitcher earn league honors.

Infielders Isabelle Griswold and Elaina Stone were honored and outfielders Kylie Segraves and Samantha Reeder were on the Central Penn League all-star team.

Williamsport pitcher Lynna Robertson also was honored.

The softball and baseball team’s five selections were the most of any school in the Central Penn League.
