The PA-D4 Wrestling Dual Team started the summer schedule with a return to the top of the podium. The team took first place at the Iron Man Tournament, hosted by the Gladiator Wrestling club in Gettysburg. This year’s tournament was expanded to 12 teams and the competition being tough. There were two pools of six teams giving each team five matches. The team went 5-0 in pool play by beating the Gladiators (49-17), North Hunterdon (56-12), Mat Rats (64-9), Valley Boys (35-32) and Bison Dogs (69-0).  They continued their streak in the championship rounds by beating Cumberland Valley, 41-18, in the semis and in the finals beat the Outsiders, from Maryland, 36-36, on criteria one (most wins.) Wrestling for the PA-D4 Dual Team on the opening weekend of the summer season was Muncy’s Jacob Blair, Hughesville’s Luke Gorg, Muncy’s Bryce Vollman, Montgomery’s Lucas Drick, Montoursville’s Dylan Bennett, Milton’s Noah Stamm, Muncy’s Noah Gush, Selinsgrove’s Coy Bastian, Muncy’s Mike Kustanbauter, Central Mountain’s Tanner Weaver, Wyoming Seminary’s Mike Dogget and Muncy’s Hunter Poust.
