Williamsport’s home game vs. Pittston gets canceled

Williamsport’s home contest that was scheduled for Friday against Pittston was canceled early that morning. According to Williamsport athletic director Sean McCann, Pittston was dealing with a COVID-19 concern and canceled the game. It won’t be made-up.

Williamsport hosts Harrisburg on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. kickoff.

Williamsport is 5-0, which is its best start since 2016.

The Millionaires are playing solid defensively, limiting its opponents to 18, 14, 7, 0 and 13 points, respectively.

Frankie Morrone has 815 passing yards and 11 TDs for the Millionaires and Nasir Hennigan (272 yards) and Keith Freeman (260) have each rushed for more than 250 this season.
