The cast of truTV’s “Impractical Jokers,” featuring the acclaimed comedy troupe The Tenderloins – made up of Sal Vulcano, Joe Gatto, James “Murr” Murray and Brian “Q” Quinn – have announced a stop for April 29 at the Community Arts Center, 220 W. Fourth St., for their critically praised “The truTV Impractical Jokers ‘Where’s Larry?’ Tour, starring The Tenderloins.” Tickets go on sale Friday at 9 a.m. at the box office; web and phone orders will follow at 10 a.m.

The Tenderloins are the creators, executive producers, writers and stars of truTV’s hit television series, “Impractical Jokers.” About to enter its fifth season, the Impractical Jokers follows the Tenderloins’ four members as they coerce one another into doing public pranks while being filmed by hidden cameras. During its fourth season, the series celebrated 100 episodes in the United States with a live television event, “The Impractical Jokers Live Punishment Special.” Hosted by Howie Mandel, the special drew in 3 million viewers.

Natives of Staten Island, New York, The Tenderloins met while attending high school and later formed The Tenderloins Comedy Troupe in 1999.

After years of performing live improv and sketch comedy shows in theatres, clubs and festivals across the country, The Tenderloins crossed over to the web, garnering millions of views for their Internet sketches. They went on to win the grand prize of NBC’s “It’s Your Show,” a sketch comedy competition show, hosted by Carson Daly.
