Good Time 4-H gives back to community
The Good Time 4-H Club went over the new rules and regulations for the 2019 Union County West End fair at its recently monthly meeting. In the Limestone Township building, the members also discussed the Lewisburg Veterans Fourth of July and Mifflinburg parades and upcoming 4-H meetings.
During the meeting, Abigail Imgrund presented on the Art and Dance of Baton Twirling; Bailee Lauver talked about rear view cameras; Kennedie Lauver discussed items made with swine by-products; and Sebastian Lauver showcased his WWE action figures and highlighted his favorite wrestlers.
The Good Time 4-H Club also participated in signing patriotic postcards distributed by the state’s 4-H office to be sent to the military. Afterwards, members went to the pavilion to work on the annual community service project cleaning up branches and leaves for the Limestone Township building as a thanks for letting the club use its facilities.
Members also noted that the Teen Council Group is open to any 4-H members that are 13 and older. For more information, call Barb Franck at 570-412-0084.
