Board members elected to the Friends of the J.V. Brown Library
Two new members were elected to four-year terms on the Board of the Friends of the J.V. Brown Library. Maria Casale and Michael Pontious will serve for four-year terms.
Casale has lived in the Williamsport area for 38 years and holds an undergraduate degree from King’s College and a master’s degree in microbiology and biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame. She has participated in many volunteer activities including the Make a Wish Foundation, Junior League of Williamsport, the St. Ann School Association and the Montoursville Area School District Foundation.
Pontious holds an undergraduate degree from Lycoming College in managerial economics and currently is a senior vice president with USI Insurance Services. He is the immediate past chair, Operating Committee, for Leadership Lycoming County and on the Board of Directors for the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce. He volunteers with USI Gives Back-Sharing Our Time, Talent and Treasure with the Communities We Serve.
Chuck Featherstone was elected for another four-year term on the Board. Ardyth Cross and Mary Beth Kibbe were elected to each serve an additional year in their leadership roles.
