Brown Zeafla reunion canceled

Due to the death of Nancy Brown Davis, the Brown and Zeafla Reunion on Sunday, July 12, is canceled.

Steppe reunion

The John T. Steppe reunion will be held at the Nisbet Park at 1 p.m. July 19. Please bring a dish to share and your own drinks.

There will not be a Chinese auction or 50/50s due to COVID-19. To comply with social distancing, please bring a chair and wear a mask.

Hilner reunion canceled

The 93rd annual Hilner Reunion, scheduled for Aug. 9, is canceled due to COVID-19. There will be a reunion in 2021.

Pop Up Pantries

The New Love Center Cafe is offering take out meals Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist, Williamsport, at the Glover Street door. The New Love Center Food Pantry also has announced distribution schedules for the following locations:

9 a.m. to noon, 1 to 3 p.m. second and fourth Friday of the month, New Love Center, 229 S. Broad St., Jersey Shore.

2 p.m. third Thursday of the month, 124 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven, located in the STEP Inc. parking lot.

2 p.m. third Friday of the month, Renovo Fire Hall, Renovo.

Lewisburg lobby sale

LEWISBURG — Purchase unique items including jewelry, art, gift baskets and more in the lobby at The Public Library for Union County, 255 Reitz Blvd.

Between July and December, over 150 hand-crafted items, collectibles and more will be featured in the library’s display cases with new items swapped out each month. Everything will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

All proceeds from the event are used to augment the collection of books and materials available for the community to borrow at the Public Library for Union County in Lewisburg.
