Susquehanna SeniorTek group schedules next session of iPad classes

The Susquehanna SeniorTek group, sponsored by the James V. Brown Library, will hold a Basic iPad and iPhone workshop for older adults beginning Wednesday, April 5 and continuing for six weeks.

The class will meet from 10 a.m. to noon in the third floor meeting room on April 5, 12, 19 and 26, and May 3 and 10. Participants will learn how to use an iPad and an iPhone to take pictures, text and email.

All classes are open to adults age 50 and over and are taught by senior volunteers. There is a fee for each class. SeniorTek is staffed by local volunteers and offers affordable computer education to older adults. Classes are limited to 10 students per class and are aimed at those with basic computer or tablet skills.

For more information, visit http://seniornet.weebly.com/ or call the library at 570-326-0536 and leave a message with the circulation desk. A SeniorTek volunteer will return the call.

The James V. Brown Library is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday; noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; and 24/7 at www.jvbrown.edu.
