Swampcandy to perform at Rusty Rail Live series

MIFFLINBURG – Swampcandy will hit the Rusty Rail Live stage at 9 p.m. Oct. 7 at the Rusty Rail Brewing Co., 5 N. Eighth St., with their rustic Mississippi blues.

Swampcandy, a blues duo that sounds like a full band, easily gets your feet stomping and your hands clapping with their soulful, rhythmic style.

“The duo tours internationally, and they have been making quite a name for themselves,” said John Rattie of Rusty Rail Brewing Co. “They’re a primitive blues influenced Americana duo that is dirty, nasty, creative and sweet.”

Tickets for the Swampcandy show are available at www.rustyrailbrewing.com/swampcandy or at the door.

Featuring popular and up-and-coming artists, Rusty Rail Live showcases single acts and full bands performing their own take on Americana, folk, bluegrass, alternative country, country, blues, jazz, soul and rock.

Jason Eady, Chicken Tractor Deluxe and the Raven and The Wren also will hit the Rusty Rail Live stage in October, and additional shows are booked through the end of the year. For more information on other upcoming shows, visit www.rustyrailbrewing.com/music.
