It’s almost time for the Community Theatre League to roll out the red carpet for the Ray of Light Awards for excellence in high school theater.

Honoring the brightest and the best in local and area high school Music and Theatre Departments and Drama Clubs, the 11th annual Ray of Light Awards ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. May 25 at the Community Arts Center, 200 West Fourth St.

CTL’s Ray of Light ceremony is open to the public and patterned after the Tony and Grammy Awards. Tickets are available after May 6 by contacting the CAC Box Office: (570) 326-2424 or at caclive.com.

Adjudication began last fall for comedies and dramas, and concluded in late April for the 16 musicals submitted for this year’s competition. After tabulation of the year-long adjudication, the Community Theatre Leagues announces the following 2019 nominations:
