Art league to host 2 events

The Bald Eagle Art League will start September with two opportunities for the public to enjoy art.

The season’s first meeting of the Bald Eagle Art League, from 7 to 8 p.m., Sept. 3 at the Thomas Taber Museum on Fourth Street, will feature Kim Pagano’s demonstration of incorporating photos into paintings.

Several members of the Bald Eagle Art League will be displaying art at the Genetti Taphouse with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m., Sept. 4.

“Come and meet the artists, enjoy an exciting evening at the Genetti Taphouse,” a news release said, “You’re going to love this variety of pieces.”

Both events are free and open to the public. Artwork will be on display at the Genetti Taphouse for the month of August and September. Purchases can be made through the artist directly.
