Lewisburg theatre plans to reopen

The Campus Theatre will be reopening soon.

According to a news release, the theatre will first reopen at a limited capacity to members only, beginning Friday. It will reopen to the public Nov. 13.

Opening weekend screenings will be free, and include complimentary popcorn. The following COVID-19 precautions are being taken: Masks are mandatory at all times while in the theatre, sixty socially distanced seats will be available on a first-come first-serve basis, plexiglass barriers around the concession stand have been installed, hand sanitizer stations have been installed throughout the theatre, high-touch surfaces/areas will be sanitized frequently and interior foot traffic patterns will be controlled with signs and stanchions.

The theatre will be cleaned and sanitized after each screening with a newly purchased electrostatic mister that kills bacteria and viruses. The newly renovated ticket booth will be used as the point of entry to ensure proper headcount and to keep patrons and staff safe.

On Nov. 13, all screenings will be open to the public with the same limited capacity of 60 people. Regular admission rates will apply.
