WILLIAMSPORT– Thanks to a donation made by the district’s insurance firm, a group of students will receive a free coat to wear this winter.
Dereck Malzi, the area’s assistant vice president for Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., stopped by the District Service Center on Thursday to donate 10 coats for five female and five male students at Williamsport Area High School.
The donation is a part of the company’s annual Coats 4 Kids Drive.
In addition to the coats, the insurance firm also is raising funds from its employee base to put together holiday gift packages for a selection of students at Stevens Primary School. The gift packages will include items, such clothing, shoes, and small toys and games.
