James V. Brown Library donates books to River Valley Regional YMCA Williamsport

The James V Brown Library recently donated more than 100 books to the River Valley Regional YMCA Williamsport Branch School Age Childcare Program. The program is made up of students from Cochran, Curtin, Jackson, and Stevens who receive care before and/or after school and go to the YMCA during school breaks. The books range from fiction to non-fiction and are current, age-appropriate reading for 3rd-6th graders. The Library’s goal is to build children’s home libraries to encourage lifelong reading.
