City man faces theft charges

Douglas Paulhamus, 38, of 707 Second Ave., apartment C, has been charged by city police with allegedly stealing copper pipes from the basement of rental apartment on Sept. 2, according to an affidavit filed at the office of District Judge Christian Frey. He then took the pipes to a recycling business and received $66 for them, police alleged. Arraigned on charges of theft and theft of secondary metal, he is free on $5,000 bail.
