Ex-boyfriend jailed on charges

After illegally entering the garage of his ex-girlfriend about 10:15 a.m. on Nov. 12, Nicolas Grieco picked up a metal curtain rod and put it through the windshield of her Ford Focus that was parked in her driveway, city police alleged in a criminal complaint.

It was alleged that Grieco, 24, 1542 Sherman St., also broke both car’s side mirrors, police said. The ex-girlfriend “exited her home and captured a video of Grieco, who pulled his sweatshirt hood strings closed” as he fled the property, police said. Arraigned before District Judge William Solomon on charges of felony burglary, felony trespassing, possession of an instrument of crime and criminal mischief, Grieco remains in jail.
