Loyalsock Township man charged with hit-run
Motorist Anthony Henderson, 31, of 1541 Northway Road, has been charged with accidents involving damage to attended property and driving with a suspended license for allegedly fleeing the scene of a crash on Washington Boulevard about 1:10 p.m. on May 24, city police said.
Driving a Chevrolet Cobalt, Henderson struck the side of Puff’s Tobacco at 517 Washington Blvd., ripped off a natural gas line and then fled the scene, police alleged. The store was closed a short time after the crash. Henderson has since waived his preliminary hearing before District Judge Aaron Biichle and is free on bail.
