Seven face drug charges
Already out on bail on another criminal matter, Francis Fredin Jr., 35, of 91 O’dell Road, lot A-1, Muncy, has now been locked up on new charges after drugs were found in his mobile home on Jan. 3, according to a state police affidavit.
The drugs were discovered by a supervised bail officer who was conducting a surprised visit at the property. Part of Fredin’s bail condition included he not be involved in any other criminal activity. The bail officer seized an assortment of drug paraphernalia and narcotics, including a bad of crystal methamphetamines, two bags of magic mushrooms and four pills of suspected clonazepam, police said. Following his recent arraignment Friday before District Judge William Solomon on charges of possession of magic mushrooms, possession of crystal methamphetamines, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, Fredin was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail.
Albert A. Cunningham Jr., 29, of 2250 Hillside Ave., has been charged by state police with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and illegal use of a cellphone for allegedly selling three bundles (30 bags) of heroin to an informant in the 200 block of West Fourth Street in the city last April 29, according to an affidavit. He remains jailed in lieu of $250,000 bail.
Eric Andrew Fox, 54, of 3731 Lycoming Creek Road, lot 10, and Alexandria Martinez, 32, of 639 Fifth Ave., have been charged with delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy for their alleged involvement in the sale of three bundles (.9 grams) of fentanyl to an informant for $300 in the 1700 block of East Third Street in Loyalsock Township on Sept. 24, according to court records filed by the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU). Fox faces an additional charge of illegal use of a communication device. Martinez remains jailed in lieu of $250,000 bail while Fox, initially incarcerated, is now free on $15,000 bail.
Jessica Cover, 31, of 929 Diamond St., has been charged by the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit with conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance following her alleged involvement in trafficking crack cocaine to an informant in South Williamsport on Aug. 26, according to court records. She was arraigned last week before Solomon and jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail.
Stephenie Foster, 27, of 30 Curtin St., South Williamsport, has been charged by Tiadaghton Valley Region police with possession of bath salts and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 100 block of South Main Street in Jersey Shore on Nov. 13, according to court records. She is free on $20,000 bail.
Joseph Kaiser, 39, of 320 Bennett St., has been charged with delivery of a controlled substance after he was caught allegedly injecting fentanyl into a woman’s arm in a vehicle in the 200 block of William St. on Sept. 23, according to court records filed by the county’s NEU. An undisclosed amount of fentanyl was seized by an officer. Both Kaiser and the woman “were taken into custody,” according to an affidavit. It was unknown if the woman was ever charged. Kaiser is free $25,000 bail.
Jeremy Knott, 40, of Littiz, has been charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal trespassing after he was caught trespassing on a woman’s property in the 100 block of School House Road in Hepburn Township while “under the influence of crack cocaine about 2:30 a.m. on Jan. 20, Old Lycoming Township police said. He was jailed in lieu of $2,500 bail.
