Williamsport fugitive nabbed near Lewisburg

Fugitive Hunter Michael Good, 25, of Race Street, was taken into custody on the afternoon of Oct. 8 by several police officers after has found under “several blankets and covers” inside a vacant home at an undisclosed location in Union Township, according to the Sunbury Daily Item.

Wanted on several warrants throughout Lycoming County, Good was being pursued after he bailed out of a vehicle that Buffalo Valley Regional police had stopped on West Branch Highway in East Buffalo Township earlier in the day, the Item reported. An officer chased after him, but eluded capture. Police later received a report of Good riding a bicycle near Park Road in Winfield, but efforts to locate him were unsuccessful, the newspaper reported. Good’s mother provided information to the whereabouts of her son, and officers soon surrounded a home, where he eventually was located and arrested after putting up considerable resistance, the Daily Items reported. In addition to the offenses in Lycoming County, state police at Milton have charged Good with several offenses, including burglary, felony trespassing, resisting arrest, evading arrests and flight to avoid apprehension, the Item reported. No information was available Sunday on what charges Good faced in Lycoming County. Although he was taken in custody, no details were available regarding whether he was currently incarcerated or free on bail.
