Williamsport woman charged with felony offense after allegedly hiding a fugitive

Kylah Winder, 25, of 2347 Grand St., Williamsport has been charged with felony hindering apprehension and prosecution after she knowingly hid fugitive Jhalil Moore in her home back on Nov. 21 when a team of law enforcement officers came looking for him at her city residence, it was alleged in an affidavit. When Winder came outside, she allegedly lied and told the officers no one else was in the house, but when the officers entered the property, they found Moore

hiding in a bedroom closet. Arraigned before District Judge Christian Frey, Winder was released on $10,000 bail. After receiving a sentence of two to four years in state prison, Moore failed to report at the appointed time, resulting in a bench warrant being issued for his arrest.
