Jersey Shore man faces several charges after allegedly threatening to kill police officers

When Lycoming Regional police arrived at a home in the 200 block of Marion Street in Jersey Shore shortly before 2 p.m. on March 13, 2025, they were met with shouts of profanity and orders to leave, an affidavit said.
Kyle Robert Keller, 31, of 208 Marion St., allegedly emerged from the residence, holding several knives and threatening to kill officers. Keller was holding a knife for each responding officer, he told them, before retreating into the residence and locking the doors and windows, according to court documents.
Barricaded inside, Keller allegedly threatened to set the house on fire, telling police that anyone attempting to gain access would be leaving in a body bag.
Forceable entry was made into the residence and Keller was located in the basement, surrounded by five knives taped together, gas, propane and a lighter, authorities allege.
Removed from the residence, Keller allegedly threatened to kill his mother for giving officers a key to the house, and spit on a medic.
He was arraigned on four counts of making terroristic threats, two counts of possession of an instrument of crime, disorderly conduct and two counts of harassment by District Judge Denise Dieter and remanded to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
Just days later, Keller was hit with charges of theft by unlawful taking, theft by receiving stolen property and disorderly conduct after a neighbor provided police with video footage of Keller kicking a light at the end of her driveway and subsequently taking it.
Keller was arraigned on the new charges by Dieter, and imprisoned in county prison in lieu of $5,000 bail.
