Linden man charged after illegal u-turn causes accident

Llord Baron Cross, 26, of 405 Front St., Linden, has been charged with driving on a suspended license and other charges, after he allegedly made an illegal u-turn causing a crash at Route 44 and Vandyke Road in Limestone Township at 11:30 p.m. on Feb. 16, 2025.
Cross allegedly admitted to police that he had tried to make a u-turn on Route 44, but did not see the oncoming vehicle and was “slightly stuck,” according to court documents.
A computer check on Cross’ driver’s license revealed it was currently suspended for DUI.
He was arraigned on additional charges of making an illegal u-turn, operating a vehicle without a valid driver’s license, operating a vehicle on an expired registration and operating a vehicle without valid insurance by District Judge Denise Dieter.
