Felony charge lodged against two for allegedly trespassing in vacant Williamsport building

Krystopher Michael Jeffers, 28, of 1152 Memorial Ave., and Cheyenne Lee Lowmiller, 22, who is homeless, will each face further court action on a Williamsport police felony trespassing charge after they waived their preliminary hearing before District Judge Aaron Biichle. The two were arrested for entering a vacant building in the 600 block of Court Street by climbing through a window about 4:30 p.m. on March 4, city police alleged in an affidavit. Jeffers, who has a history of shoplifting arrests, faces additional charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was found to have the controlled substance on him when he was taken into custody. Jeffers is free on $5,000 bail, while Lowmiller is free on $2,500 bail.
