13 charged with drug offenses

Thirteen people have been charged with various drug offenses, according to records at the offices of county district judges.
Hughesville man found to be in possession of marijuana during PFA service
As he was packing clothes to leave a residence in the 150 block of Boak Avenue in Hughesville, Perry Eugene Miller, 44, allegedly pulled a gallon baggie of marijuana from his dresser drawer in full view of Lycoming County Sheriff’s Office authorities serving the order, an affidavit said.
Miller told police that the bag contained medical marijuana belonging to him, however, due to the amount, 27.64 grams, and packaging of the drug, police determined that to be false, according to court documents.
He was arraigned on a charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana by District Judge Kirsten Gardner and released on $2,500 bail.
Lancaster County man charged with drug possession
After confirming with state police over the phone that he had purchased nearly two ounces of methamphetamine on Oct. 12, 2024, Lee Marvin Peterman, 47, of Bainbridge, turned the drugs over to police, relating that he had initially made the purchase with the intention of re-selling it for some extra money, an affidavit said.
He was arraigned on a charge of possession with intent to deliver by District Judge Kirsten Gardner, and released on $25,000 bail.
Nathan Banks, 44, of 1542 Scott St.; already incarcerated on drugs offenses; arraigned on additional charges of delivery of a controlled substance and illegal use of a communication device, filed by the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU) after allegedly selling crack cocaine to an informant in the 400 block of Lycoming Street in the city on April 11; recommitted in lieu of an additional $50,000 baiL; also in yet another case he has been charged by state police with DUI and four summary offenses on Washington Boulevard and Railway Street in the city on Feb. 8; bail in this incident was set at $5,000.
Anthony Short, 55, of 910 Poplar St.; NEU; delivery of a controlled substance, illegal use of cellphone plus sexual assault and indecent exposure following his involvement in the sale of cocaine to an informant who he then sexually assaulted in the 300 block of Campbell Street in the city on April 23; it was alleged in an affidavit; initially jailed; now free on $150,000 bail; he has since waived his preliminary hearing.
Calvin Spann Jr., 56, of 724 Grace St., apartment 1E; NEU; two counts each of delivery of a controlled substance and illegal use of cellphone for his alleged involvement in two drugs sales at his home; one on April 3 and another on April 24; jailed in lieu of $15,000 bail.
Janel Lynn Kline, 47, of 2616 Waldman Drive; NEU; delivery of a controlled substance and illegal use of cellphone for allegedly selling crack cocaine to an informant at Scott and Oliver streets in the city on March 12; free on $25,000 bail.
Vicki Lynn Sweeting, 56, of 1643 Memorial Ave.; NEU; delivery of a controlled substance and illegal use of a cellphone for her alleged involvement in two sales involving crack cocaine; one on Jan. 23 and another on Feb. 6 both at her home in the city; released on $10,000 bail.
Bailey Marie Maggs, 25, of 1246 Isabella St.; state police; possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at Northway and Harvey roads in Loyalsock Township on March 20; released on $5,000 bail.
Colton Leroy Wagner, 28, of 1510 Light St.; city police; possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia at his home on Feb. 26; released on $10,000 bail.
Basil Grant, 37, of Philadelphia, state police; possession of marijuana on West Edwin Street in the city on Feb. 2; free on $5,000.
Bianca Lee Long, 21, of Milton; state police; possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 100 block of Crawford Alley in Montoursville on Jan. 30; free on $5,000 bail.
Nickolina McMann, 49, of Lock Haven; city police; possession of a controlled substance (crystal methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1200 block of Vine Avenue on Jan. 19; initially jailed, but now free on $10,000 bail.
Logan Lewis, 29, of 1610 Scott St.; city police; possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia at his home on Dec. 26; released on $10,000 bail.
