After the pickup truck was pulled away from the house on Faxon Parkway, damage to the exterior of the home was clearly evident. The truck struck the house’s water line and narrowly hit the gas line to the property.
The truck, heading west on East Third Street, first struck a car near Northway Road and then took out a sign as it headed north on Faxon Parkway, officials said.
The truck crossed Faxon Parkway and struck the east side of an office building (SL Financial Group), and then crashed into a large bolder, moving it about five feet, officials said. The bolder, which was at the end of the driveway at the back of the office building, landed in the middle of the sidewalk.
