New business spotlight on Hideaway Day Spa
Deb King is an esthetician, a professional who specializes in skin and skin care.
Her Hideaway Day Spa, located in behind Washington Boulevard in Williamsport is a place for people to undergo facials, chemical peels, ant-aging or acne treatments, and bacials.
“I’m just so excited about starting something new,” King said.
Tucked away on the second floor of a house-like building at 316 Blackberry Alley, the Hideaway caters to both men and women customers.
King said she likes to be in a business that allows people to feel better. She said she hopes to build a steady clientele after having opened in mid-February.
King and her one employee, Jackie Deljanovan, are skin professionals with diplomas in advanced esthetics. Starting the business was something King was hoping to do. She said there was simply a need for her type of business in Williamsport.
“We just heard this spot was for rent,” she said. “Jackie and I work really well together. It kind of just all fell into place.”
The Hideaway, she said, is reasonably priced and carries Circadia products.
“We just want to help as many people as we can,” King said.
The business, which includes two treatments rooms, offers an attractive setting and comfortable waiting room area for allowing clients to feel at home. The business will hold a grand opening 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 27.
The Hideaway is taking appointments at 570-505-1479.
