Dean of sciences, humanities and visual communications named

Pennsylvania College of Technology has appointed Sue Kelley dean of the School of Sciences, Humanities and Visual Communications.

Kelley, who has more than 20 years’ experience in higher education, comes to Penn College from Lycoming College, where she has been employed since 1999, serving most recently as an associate professor of psychology and department chair.

She also has administrative experience related to curriculum leadership, recruitment and retention, planning and budget, and personnel and she has performed various roles in institutional governance.

As dean of sciences, humanities and visual communications, she succeeds Michael Reed, who now serves as Penn College’s vice president for academic affairs and provost.

The School of Sciences, Humanities and Visual Communications offers academic majors in brewing and fermentation science, early childhood education, emergency management, graphic design and art, human services and restorative justice and individualized programs of study.
