Playing it safe in Puerto Rico
WASD students interview kids across the world
We got the unique opportunity to interview a child, Isaac, 8, from Puerto Rico on his current situation due to the virus. Isaac, who likes to play with toys, was able to converse with us because he had learned English from watching TV, which is another one of his hobbies.
His area is in quarantine, and he told us that he is staying home and feels like he is washing his hands every 20 seconds.
He says that he misses school, his teacher Mrs. Rayes and science, his favorite subject. Although his area is under quarantine, his parents still have to work.
Let’s just remember there are other people out there who are going through the same thing as us.
