Geisinger launches online resource hub for reopening businesses
Offerings include best practices, signage and guidance for employers
As businesses prepare to reopen across Pennsylvania, Geisinger is providing tools, information and guides to help employers keep their staff and patrons safe and healthy, according to a recent press release.
This online resources center is available at go.geisinger.org/businessresources.
Available content includes frequently asked questions, best practices, guidance for screening employees, signage kits promoting handwashing and social distancing at the workplace and more, according to the press release.
Virtual consultations are also available upon request.
“As a healthcare partner in the community, Geisinger is lending expertise and best practices in care delivery to our local businesses as they carefully return to in-person operations,” Allison Hess, vice president of health at the Geisinger Steele Institute for Health Innovation, said in the press release.
“By taking the proper precautions and following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and state Department of Health, employers can minimize potential exposure in the workplace as we navigate the coronavirus pandemic together,” she continued.
Additionally, Geisinger Health Plan (GHP) is offering new virtual and telephonic services to members.
These include health coaching, population health programs, behavioral health services and online health resources.
Wellness specialists are partnering with employers to support their particular needs and offer virtual classes and educational activities, stress reduction guidance, motivational challenges and other engaging programs.
