Programs set for Hyner Run and Little Pine parks

On Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Hyner Run State Park, individuals can join the park naturalist and learn about the “Trout at Hyner Run.” This is designed to be an informal program.

All children must be accompanied by an adult in order to participate. Program may be modified or cancelled in the event of severe weather or new CDC Guidelines.

Also on Saturday at 7:45 p.m. there will be a program called “Solitary Rats.” This program will be focusing on a type of packrat that is mainly solitary and not very common in Pennsylvania, the Allegheny Woodrat.

There will be a movie shown.

On Friday at Little Pine State Park at 3:30 p.m. individuals can join the park naturalist and learn about the “Fish of Little Pine.” This is designed to be an informal program.

All children must be accompanied by an adult in order to participate. Program may be modified or cancelled in the event of severe weather or new CDC Guidelines. Meet at the beach.

Also on Friday at 8:00 p.m. there will be a program called “Solitary Rats.” This program will be focusing on a type of packrat that is mainly solitary and not very common in Pennsylvania, the Allegheny Woodrat.
