16 people are charged with various offenses by area police

Sixteen people have been charged with various criminal offenses, according to court records.

Those charged and the police departments involved were:

• Luke J. Womer, 24, of 230 Larryville Road, Jersey Shore; Tiadaghton Valley Regional police; recklessly endangering, driving under the influence of intoxicants, hit-run and related offenses for allegedly striking Michell Thorn intentionally with his Volkswagen Jetta at the Minit Mart, 815 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, about 1:30 a.m. Monday; the vehicle struck her “head-on and dragged her 10 to 15 feet”; jailed in lieu of $250,000 bail; victim was treated at a local hospital.

• Quodrice D. Hendrix, 25, of 2522 W. Fourth St.; city police; carrying a firearm without a license, resisting arrest, flight to avoid apprehension and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 600 block of Sixth Avenue late Sunday afternoon; jailed in lieu of $300,000 bail.

• Daniel S. Campbell, 36, of 143 Locust St., Jersey Shore; Tiadaghton Valley Regional police; terroristic threats and harassment for allegedly threatening to kill girlfriend Beth Saires at their home on Saturday afternoon; jailed in lieu of $100,000 bail.

• Chad Michael Seabold, 37, of 530 Showers Road, Muncy; Montousville police; felony shoplifting for allegedly stealing $179 worth of merchandise at the Weis Market, 801 N. Loyalsock Ave.; arraigned Saturday and jailed in lieu of $15,000 bail.

• Adam Richard Schick, 31, of 1734 Loyalsock Drive; state police; simple assault and harassment for allegedly punching Marina Fox multiple times in the face outside his apartments early Friday morning; jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.

• John C. Reed Jr., 29, of 338 E. Southern Ave., South Williamsport; South Williamsport police; simple assault and harassment for allegedly striking girlfriend Bobbie Jo Wettlaufer in the face in their bedroom on March 11; initially jailed, but now free on $10,000 bail.

• Elaine Ann Brungard, 58, of 1214 Cherry St, Montoursville; Montoursville police; misdemeanor shoplifting after she was caught allegedly trying to steal $27 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart, 1015 N. Loyalsock Ave., on March 5; her second shoplifting arrest; released on $5,000 bail.

• Lycoming County Prison inmate Dylan Dustin Lesnik, 25, of 3130 Pine Mountain Road, Jersey Shore; county detective’s office; assault by prisoner, recklessly endangering and related offenses for allegedly striking fellow inmate Brian Vroman multiple times in the face, head, back and ribs on Feb. 24; he was upset at losing a card game to Vroman, who is jailed on charges stemming from the home invasion and fire at the residence of Gary and Linda Inch in Fairfield Township in late January 2016; Lesnik, jailed since late December 2015 on charges of severely beating another man allegedly on O’Neill Avenue in the city, was recommitted in lieu of an additional $35,000 bail following his arraignment last week.

• Annie Maule Wolf, 33, of 1682 Andrews Place; city police; felony forgery, theft and related offenses for allegedly stealing 10 checks from her father’s checkbook at his home at 367 Lincoln Ave. and cashing seven of them for $1,490 during the week of Feb. 6; she also used her father’s credit card to purchase $198 worth of merchandise illegally; released on $10,000 bail; the victim was James Maule.

• Fred Luis Vandusen, 35, of 2100 Central Ave.; city police; theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing $700 from a register while while employed at Subway, 1963 W. Fourth St., during December; a bench warrant for his arrest was expected to be filed after he failed to appear for a hearing.

• Kirsten Elizabeth McMaster, 22, of Douglassville, Berks County; city police; forgery, identity theft and related charges for allegedly using Melanie Slack’s driver’s license to sell a stolen laptop to Newberry Exchange, 846 Diamond St., on Dec. 13; the laptop was owned by Nathan Price and was taken from 647 Beeber St.; released on $5,000 bail.

• Elizabeth Ann Fromille, 60, of Canton; city police; misdemeanor shoplifting for allegedly fleeing Wegmans, 201 William St., with $69 worth of merchandise on Nov.17; second shoplifting arrest; released on $2,500 bail.

• Malaysia Georgia Martin, 21, of 409 Louisa St.; city police; two misdemeanor counts of shoplifting for allegedly stealing merchandise from the Family Dollar, 328 Memorial Ave., on Oct. 27 and again Nov. 3; released on $2,500 bail.

• Travis Lee Steppe, 32, of 1294 Northway Road Extension; state police; felony theft and related offenses for allegedly stealing $15,000 worth of jewelry from Lorraine Kay Confer’s home at 319 Brouse Road in Clinton Township between early August and late October while employed by Confer as a handyman around the property; released on $75,000 bail.

• Niare Lamar Brown, 19, of 304 Arch St.; city police; receiving stolen property and theft by deception for allegedly selling stolen video games and two Playstations to Elite Games, 1877 E. Third St., on Jan. 30, 2016; the items were stolen from Daniel Swanhart’s home at 2220 W. Fourth St.; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

• Kevin Curtis Heeman Sr., 27, of 60 Willow St., Hughesville; state police; burglary and related charges for allegedly breaking into a cabin owned by the Pine Tree Hunting Club on Ganderback Road in Penn Township overnight April 12, 2015; released on $25,000 bail.
