7 charged with drug-related offenses

Seven people have been charged with various drug offenses, according to court records.

Those charged and the police departments involved were:

• Joshua James Lorson, 20, of 8721 Route 44 South, South Williamsport; Tiadaghton Valley Regional police; possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 200 block of Route 44 South in Nippenose Township on March 13; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

• Jeffery Scott Burrows, 29, of 109 Locust St., Jersey Shore; possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 7700 block of Route 220 in Woodward Township on March 5; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

• Joan Ann Hoffman, 22, of 20 N. Broad St., Hughesville; Hughesville police; possession of three marijuana plants, recklessly endangering and endangering the welfare of children for allegedly growing the plants in a bedroom she shared with Dylan James Simcox with children in the home on Feb. 15; also charged with possession of marijuana and related offenses; sent a summons to appear before a district judge; Simcox has already been charged in the case.

• Mark B, Steppe, 22, of 73 Walnut Lane, Jersey Shore; Tiadaghton Valley Regional police; possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on Allegheny Street in Jersey Shore on Feb. 11; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

• Krista Lee Davenport, 36, of New Cumberland; the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit; possession with intent to deliver one gram of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia at Park Avenue and Center Street in the city on Dec. 5; jailed in lieu of $25,0000 bail.

• Walter A. Richardson Jr., 33, of 2500 Federal Ave., and Terrell Darnell Chandler, 32, of Philadelphia; possession with intent to deliver 14 grams of PCP, possession of three bags of crack cocaine and related offenses in the 700 block of Memorial Avenue in the city on Sept 24; Chandler faces additional state police charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 1200 of Catherine Street in the city when taken into custody on Wednesday night (March 29); both men jailed in lieu of $125 bail each.
