A city man, currently serving time in Lycoming County Prison for a different case, was brought to District Judge Allen P. Page on Friday for sex-related charges

According to a police affidavit, Brett A. Fields, 25, was arrested on charges involving a 14-year-old female who allegedly gave birth to his child in 2013.

Between August 2012 and September 2013, Fields and the victim lived in the same home together and both admitted to an officer that the baby was his, according to the affidavit.

Fields is jailed in Lycoming County Prison on other charges and was given an additional $75,000 bail for this case. His next hearing will be at 9:15 a.m. on Sept. 14.
