4 people recently charged

Four people have been charged with various criminal offenses, according to court records. Those charged and the law enforcement agencies involved were:

• Lance Quartman, 48, of 1312 Clayton Ave.; city police; felony shoplifting after he was caught allegedly trying to steal $74 worth of merchandise from Wegmans, 201 William St., on Oct. 13; jailed in lieu of $7,500; he already has three shoplifting convictions.

• Travis Brion, 28, of 811 Moore Ave.; Hughesville police; terroristic threats, criminal mischief, trespassing, DUI following an incident on Oct. 12 at Ginya Golder’s home at 111 Church St. in Picture Rocks where he damaged Derek Gilbert’s motorcycle and told Golder “I’ll get my gun and use it” when she told him she was calling the police; he then fled in his car, allegedly intoxicated, to Route 220 and Village Road in Muncy Township, where he was stopped and taken into custody; jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.

• Grant Long, 35, of 410 S. Broad St., Jersey Shore; Tiadaghton Valley Regional police; aggravated assault on an officer, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness in the 400 block of South Broad Street on Oct. 9; allegedly attempted to kick an officer; jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail.

• Dusty Peterman, 32, of 74 Orchard Ave.; Muncy Township police; felony shoplifting for allegedly stealing a total of $554 worth of merchandise from Target at Lycoming Crossing, on Sept. 19, Sept. 20 and Sept 25; he was apprehended Oct. 6 when he allegedly attempted to steal $555 worth of merchandise from the same store; in his possession he had methamphetamines; he faces an additional felony charge of attempted shoplifting and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia; jailed in lieu of $40,000 bail; he already has three shoplifting convictions.
