Police: Drug raid leads to Avis woman’s arrest
AVIS — Early yesterday morning, officers from the Clinton County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 1 W. Central Ave., and then arrested Bobbie Kichman, 49, for possession of crystal methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Clinton County District Attorney David Strouse said a search of Kichman’s residence yielded 25 grams of crystal methamphetamine valued at about $2,500 and cash in the amount of $1,551. Assorted drug paraphernalia was also found in the residence, he said.
Kichman was taken into custody and charged with multiple drug violations.
She was arraigned by District Judge Keith Kibler who set bail at $50,000 straight cash.
Kichman is being held at the Clinton County Correctional Facility awaiting a preliminary hearing.
The search warrant was the result of the investigative efforts of Pine Creek Township Police Chief David Winkleman and Cpl. Stephen Nero of the Lock Haven City Police, after a traffic stop yielded a substantial amount of crystal methamphetamine from a vehicle in the late night hours of March 5, Strouse said.
The Clinton County Drug Task Force was assisted by Pine Creek Township Police, Lock Haven City Police, Pennsylvania State Police, Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police, and the Office of Pennsylvania Attorney General.
