Several treated for injuries suffered in recent accidents

Ashley Doudrick, 21, of Manchester, York County, was treated at Muncy Valley Hospital for injuries she suffered in an accident on Route 442 in Moreland Township last Wednesday, state police said.

She was a passenger in a car driven by Bradley Knight, of Stillwater, when it crashed, police said.

In another recent accident, Jason Beamer, 44, of Williamsport, suffered minor injuries when his car struck a 10-foot embankment on Poco Farm Road in Loyalsock Township about 2:30 a.m. on March 4, police said.

Camille Greenway, 70, of Williamsport, was treated at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport Regional Medical Center for injuries she suffered in a two-vehicle crash on 15 near Old Montgomery Pike Road in Armstrong Township about 1 p.m. on March 3, police said.

Her car and another driven by Kevin Kovaleskie of Catawissa, collided, police said. A passenger in Kovaleskie’s vehicle, Stacie Swank, 42, of Pennsdale, also was treated at the hospital.

On the same day, Gayle Clark, 49, of Muncy, also was treated at UPMC after her car struck an embankment and flipped on its side on Moreland Baptist Road in Moreland Township about 8 p.m., police said.

In another accident, Mary Rose Kassock, 24, of Hazle Township, Luzerne County, was treated at UPMC for injuries she suffered when her car struck a guardrail on Route 15 in Lewis Township about 11:15 a.m. on March 1, police said.

Five people were “evaluated” at UPMC for possible injuries after vehicles driven by Amber Kurtz, 31, of Williamsport, and Gene Hill, 65, of Cogan Station, collided on Lycoming Creek Road, just south of Hayes Lane, in Loyalsock Township about 5:10 p.m. on Feb. 28, state police said.

Both drivers went to the hospital as did three passengers in Kurtz’s 2006 Honda Odyssey; Wayne Jones, 52, of Williamsport, and two children, ages 3 and 4, police said.
