Two face drug charges

After two people were taken into custody on Wednesday afternoon, members of Lycoming County’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit seized several pounds of marijuana and a large amount of suspected drug money at the couple’s South Williamsport home.

The arrests of Cory Blee, 40, and Heather Longo, 37, both of 1723 W. Southern Ave., is the result of a drug investigation in which Longo allegedly sold marijuana to undercover officers on four occasions between May 7 and Tuesday.

The two were taken into custody at their places of employment, investigators said.

Blee allegedly participated with Longo in the first sale that occurred in the 3300 block of Lycoming Creek Road, according to investigators. The other alleged drug sales, all involving Longo, occurred in South Williamsport or the city, according to court records.

Longo was arraigned on possession with intent to deliver marijuana and related offenses and released on $250,000 bail. Blee was charged with delivery of marijuana and illegal use of a cellphone and jailed in lieu of $250,000 bail.
