Man and woman each charged in alleged burglary of RV

Two people are in custody in an alleged burglary of a recreational vehicle parked in Susquehanna Township on Monday, state police said.

Megan L. Shroy, of 528 Reuben Kehrer Road in Montoursville and Daniel Mowery of Lock Haven each face charges of burglary, criminal trespass and mischief in the incident which was observed on a private video by troopers, according to an arrest affidavit.

Shroy, 34, and Mowery, 42, allegedly entered the vehicle in the 1800 block of West Village Drive about 1 p.m., police said. The vehicle doors were broken by the couple, police said.

Picked up later without incident, Mowery was driving a vehicle without a require registration and had several registration plates in it, police said.

Mowery was suspended for driving under the influence in Virginia and the latest correct registration indicates he was from South Carolina, police said.

Arraigned before District Judge Christian Frey, the couple was committed to county prison in lieu of $10,000 bail each.
