2 plead guilty to harassment in domestic disturbance case

In a plea agreement brought before District Judge William Solomon, Jonathan Smith, 28, and Tracey McCartney, 29, both of 1033 Arnold St., pled guilty to a state police summary charge of harassment after a misdemeanor charge of simple assault was withdrawn.

The charges stemmed from the two involved in a domestic disturbance with one another at 538 McIntyre Way in Lewis Township on Oct. 2.

Smith and McCartney each made arrangements to pay $211 in fines plus court costs.

In another case brought before Solomon, Robert Schoenberger, 63, of Elizabethtown, pled guilty to an Old Lycoming Township police charge of possession of marijuana in exchange for a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia being withdrawn.

The charges stemmed from an incident on Route 15 in the township on May 17. He made arrangements to pay $580 in fines and court costs.
