21 people charged for various alleged crimes

Twenty-one people have been charged with various criminal offenses, according to court records. Those charged and the law enforcement agencies involved were:

• Tanner Sanders, 18, of 152 Boak Ave., Hughesville; state police; terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering, tampering with evidence, criminal mischief and harassment following a disturbance in which he allegedly fired a rifle outside his Wolf Township home, went back inside and started smashing the wall with a hammer, scaring his roommate, and then returned outside, where he fired a rifle into the ground on Oct. 22; jailed in lieu of $20,000 bail.

• Divante McFarland, 26, of 661 Grier St.; city police; strangulation, possession of an instrument of crime (a pocket knife) recklessly endangering and related offenses following a disturbance in which he allegedly assaulted neighbor Alyiah Torres outside her home, choking her and swinging a metal pole at her and another neighbor Crabra Reed on Oct. 21; initially jailed now free on $15,000 bail.

• Megan Kiriakoy, 32, of 170 Front St., Linden; Tiadaghton Valley Regional police; felony shoplifting and receiving stolen property after she was caught allegedly trying to steal $3 worth of merchandise from Lingle’s Family Market, 701 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, on Oct. 13; this was her third shoplifting arrest; jailed in lieu of $5,000 bail.

• Khalif Levan, 33, of Philadelphia; city police; burglary and felony trespassing for allegedly crashing through Mike Mosier’s attic door at 2159 Mosser Ave., entering the man’s home illegally as Levan was fleeing police about 1 a.m. on Sept. 15; at the time Levan was living next door; jailed in lieu of $75,000 bail.

• Courtney Vidonish, 26, of 961 Route 287, Jersey Shore; Tiadaghton Valley Regional police; DUI and careless driving on Route 44 South in Nippenose Township on Sept. 3; her blood-alcohol content level was .25; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

• Tyren Thompson, 40, of Philadelphia; the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit; possession with intent to deliver heroin, crack cocaine and cocaine for his alleged involvement in three city drug sales that occurred on Aug. 12, Aug. 14 and October 21; jailed in lieu of $75,000 bail.

• Charles Shaffer, 56, of Lock Haven; Tiadaghton Valley Regional police; DUI of a controlled substance, illegal use of solvents and careless driving in the 300 block of Allegheny Street in Jersey Shore on Aug. 5; released on $1,500 bail.

• Willie Garcia, 37, 946 Memorial Ave.; city police; possession of seven envelopes of heroin or fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest following an incident at his home on July 29; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

• Larry Hamm Jr., 29, of 1211 Memorial Ave.; state police; DUI and careless driving at West Third and Maynard streets in the city on July 28; his blood-alcohol content level was .09; released on $3,500 bail.

• Bethany Costello, 27, of 308 W. Eighth Ave., South Williamsport; Montoursville police; DUI in the 300 block of Broad Street on July 26; released on $5,000 bail.

• Contractor William Lamey, 39, of Lock Haven; operating under WHL Construction; Tiadaghton Valley Regional police; felony deceptive business practices and felony home improvement fraud for accepting and cashing a $13,675 check from Wanda Bauman for work that was to be done on her Jersey Shore home in mid-July, but he allegedly never did any of the work; released on $15,000 bail.

• Chad Hess, 38, of Bloomsburg; the state Fish and Boat Commission; operating a watercraft (a pontoon boat) while under the influence of alcohol on the Susquehanna River in the area of the Arch Street bridge on July 4; his blood-alcohol content level was .09; released on $5,000 bail.

• Monica Berninger, 38, of 528 Ruben Kehrer Road, Muncy; state police; DUI and careless driving at Little League Boulevard and Hepburn Street in the city on June 29; his blood-alcohol content level was .09; released on $3,500 bail≥

• Jahmere Johnson, 20, and Annalise Bezri, 25, both of Williamsport; state police; conspiracy to possession with intent to deliver 28 bags of heroin at Wayne Avenue and Linn Street in the city on June 27; Johnson jailed in lieu of $75,000 bail while Bezri was released on that amount.

• Glenn Wininger, 61, of 1416 Pleasant Hill Road, Cogan Station; state police; DUI on Interstate 180 in the city on June 22; his blood-alcohol content level was .27.; released on $3,500 bail.

• James Carlin, 47, of Snow Shoe, Centre County; state police; state police; DU, accidents involving damage to attended vehicle or property (hit-run) following a two-vehicle on Sawmill Road in Woodward Township on May 21; jailed in lieu of $1,500 bail.

• James Lewin, 49, of 1756 Jobs Run Road, Jersey Shore; state police; possession with intent to deliver 50 hydrocodone pills and related offenses following an alleged drug transaction at his Anthony Township home on Feb. 20; released on $50,000 bail.

• Hunter Frantz, 20, of Jersey Shore; Tiadaghton Valley Regional police; possession with intent to deliver 45 grams of marijuana and related offenses in the 100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue on Jan. 29; released on $15,0000 bail.

• Brenda Clymer, 49, of Lock Haven; Tiadaghton Valley Regional police; illegal sale of a firearm and unsworn falsification to authorities for allegedly putting down false information on a firearm transaction form when she attempted to purchase a gun at National Sporting Goods, 1241 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, in late July 2019; released on $10,000 bail.

• James Gilbert, 50, of 601 Deckman Hollow Road; Montoursville police; deceptive business practices and home improvement fraud for taking $5,200 from Ann Potter to install replacement windows at her home on Nicely Avenue in the borough back in 2015, but he allegedly failed to meet his end of the contract; released on $25,000 bail.
