Pedestrian hospitalized after being hit by truck

A 22-year-old woman was hospitalized with serious head and lower body injuries she suffered when she was struck by a large service truck in front of her home in the 2300 block of Lycoming Creek Road just before 7 a.m. Tuesday, according to Old Lycoming Township Police Chief Joseph Hope.

Kylie Major was crossing from the east to the west side of the road when she was struck by a northbound truck driven by Todd Gesselman, of Selinsgrove, Hope said.

The pedestrian was admitted to the Williamsport Regional Medical Center’s intensive care unit.
