Route 14 crash victim’s condition upgraded to fair
TROUT RUN – The medical condition of the driver whose car collided head-on with a cement mixer truck on Route 14 near here earlier this month has improved, according to a nursing supervisor at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Admitted in critical condition, Hunter Sanabria, 21, of Burlington, Branford County, was reported in fair condition, the nursing supervisor said Friday night.
Sanabria was northbound on Route 14, when his car crossed into the southbound lane and collided with a cement mixer about 2:10 p.m. on Oct. 11, state police said. The cement mixer struck a tree and flipped on its side. The driver suffered minor injuries, police said.
