Motions filed for evidence in sexual assault case of minor
The defense for a Williamsport man accused in the sexual assault of an underage girl is requesting evidence from the prosecution in the case.
Jalil Donte Harris, 21, faces charges that include statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors, child pornography and indecent assault.
He and another man, Lynn Eugene Kyle, 20, of Linden, allegedly used a cellphone to record them engaging in sexual acts with the 15-year-old girl at a home in Woodward Township in August.
Defense attorney John Higgins was in court Thursday asking to review information that includes an affidavit containing the statement of an alleged second teenage victim in the case as part of pre-trial motions.
A request was also made for a polygraph recording of the accused, videos of an alleged sex act with one of the victims, laboratory reports containing evidence, and other information.
Judge Marc F. Lovecchio noted the requests.
He later denied a motion for bail modification for Harris.
Bail is presently at $95,000 after being reduced in September from $150,000.
