23 charged with various crimes

Twenty-three people have been charged with various criminal offenses, according to court records. Those charged and the law enforcement agencies involved were:

• Motorist Derrick Erwin Jr., 28, of Philadelphia; city police; felony fleeing police, resisting arrest and DUI after allegedly traveling at high rate of speed intoxicated on Little League Boulevard on Sunday; there was a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath, police said; jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail.

• Christopher Foust, 30, of 2409 Lime Bluff Road, Muncy; state police; simple assault, harassment, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after allegedly assaulting girlfriend Corrina Johnson at the couple’s home on Sunday night; he allegedly threw a table at her, striking her in the right hip and also threw a shoe, striking her in the face; jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.

• Anthony Scampone, 28, of 199 Angletown Road, Muncy; state police; felony theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing $4,300 from a Stephanine Woltz’s former home on Pumpkin Center Road in Clinton Township on the afternoon of Nov. 29; on the day, Scampone was helping Woltz move to a new home; jailed in lieu of $7,500 bail.

• Michelle Morris, 38, of 311 N. Main St., Jersey Shore; Tiadaghton Valley Regional police; possession of fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia in her apartment on Nov. 8; released on $5,000 bail.

• Christopher Fraunfelter, 31, of 2400 Fairview Terrace, and Miles Morris Jr., 42, of Hopewell, Virginia; Old Lycoming Township police; Fraunfelter, felony shoplifting; Morris, misdemeanor shoplifting; both charged with theft, theft by deception, conspiracy and receiving stolen property for allegedly in excess of $200 worth of merchandise from Weis Market, 1916 Lycoming Creek Road, on Nov. 1; Morris faces an additional charge of contraband for allegedly sneaking into the Lycoming County Prison a controlled he hid in his rectum; both jailed in lieu of $150,000 bail each; Fraunfelter faces additional charges in a second warrant filed by the Tiadaghton Valley Regional police; unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property for allegedly driving a stolen vehicle on Route 220 in Piatt Township on Nov. 21; jailed on these charges in lieu of an additional $95,000 bail; there was no information on who owned the car.

• Motorist Charles Hilborn, 58, of 400 1/2 Wilson St., Jersey Shore; Tiadaghton Valley Regional police; DUI and driving with a suspended license in the 100 block of West Street in Jersey Shore on Oct. 31; he refused to provide a blood sample; this was his second DUI arrest; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

• Motorist Maria Shank, 32, of 2918 Hillside Ave.; state police; DUI and careless driving on Shaffer Street in DuBoistown on Oct. 12; her blood-alcohol content level was .23; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

• Motorist George Hawk Jr., 53, of 16 Buffalo St., Cogan Station; DuBoistown police; DUI and open lewdness in the 2500 block of Euclid Avenue on Oct. 10; his blood-alcohol content was .29; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

• Motorist Cathy Alexander 39, of 40, of 177 Mall Road, Muncy; state police; DUI and careless driving following a crash in the 100 block of Mall Road in Fairfield Township on Sept. 21; she refused to provide a blood sample; a bench warrant was expected to be filed for her arrest after she failed to appear for her preliminary hearing.

• Motorist Michael Plotts, 35, of Milton; state police DUI, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and careless driving following a crash at North Loyalsock Avenue and Claire Road in Montoursville on Sept. 18; released on $5,000 bail.

• Sandra Doane, 63, of 2409 Brushy Ridge, Montoursville; Montoursville police; misdemeanor shoplifiting for allegedly stealing a total of $183 in merchandise on a total of five separate occasions between Sept. 9 and Sept. 25; released on $5,000 bail.

• Motorist Maurisha Williams, 23, of Buffalo, N.Y.; state police; DUI of marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and careless driving on Route 15 in Old Lycoming Township on Sept. 6; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

• Motorist Paul Anderson, 31, of 28 Briar Rose Lane, Montoursville; Montoursville police; DUI in the 1000 block of North Loyalsock Avenue on Aug. 30; his blood-alcohol content level was .20; released on $5,000 bail.

• Motorist Jaron Bartholomew, 27, of Bloomsburg; state police; DUI, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and careless driving in the 1300 block of Grampian Boulevard on Aug. 14; his blood-alcohol content level was .09; released on $5,000 bail.

• Motorist Jacob Carpenter, 37, of 700 East Second Ave., South Williamsport; South Williamsport police; DUI in the 1200 block of West Southern Avenue on Aug. 2; his blood-alcohol content level was .13; released on $5,000 bail.

• Marvin Agosta-Melendez, 33, of Lewisburg; the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources; aggravated and simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime; recklessly endangering, disorderly conduct and harassment for allegedly throwing a wooden kabob skewer at David Burkholder, striking him in the face and causing a serious eye injury on Rock Run Road in McIntyre Township on July 27; jailed in lieu of $99,000 bail

• Motorist Derek Snyder, 25, of 1637 Quaker Church Road, Muncy; South Williamsport police; DUI and careless driving in the 1500 block of Riverside Drive on July 27; his blood-alcohol content level was .18; released on $5,000 bail.

• Motorist Stephanie Updegraff, state police; DUI and careless driving in the 1400 block of Richards Avenue in Loyalsock Township on July 8; her blood-alcohol content level was .12; released on $5,000 bail.

• Motorist Heather Shollenberger, 35, of 2248 Mosser Ave.; South Williamsport police; DUI of fentanyl and endangering the welfare of a child following a crash in the 300 block of Hastings Street on July 2; a bench warrant for her arrest was expected to be filed after she failed to appear for her preliminary hearing.

• Motorist Jennifer Allis, 43, of 2608 Blair St.; South Williamsport police; DUI in the first block of East Mountain Avenue on June 22; her blood-alcohol content level was .16; released on $5,000 bail.

• Brittany Jones, 26, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; state police; DUI on Route 287 in Mifflin Township on May 18; her blood-alcohol content level was .20; released on $2,500 bail.

• Erik Balliet, 33, of 2698 Lycoming Creek Road; Hughesville police; theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing and cashing six checks belonging to his brother in the 100 block of South Railroad Street on Feb. 22; jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail
