25 sentenced in Lycoming County courts

Twenty-five people have been sentenced for various crimes in Lycoming County court.

Four people were sentenced to state prison. They are:

• Kasan R. Sanders, 40, of Lycoming County prison, 12 to 24 years for three convictions of possession of a firearm; and two to four years for delivery of a controlled substance.

• Heidi A. White, 42, of Lycoming County Prison, 27 months to 10 years, a $5,000 fine, $4,442 in restitution, and 200 hours of community service for Conspiracy to commit burglary, theft, and receiving stolen property.

• Marvin A. Smith, 53, no listed address, 12 to 60 months, a drug and alcohol assessment, DUI education, and 50 hours of community service for DUI. Ninety Days in and a $100 fine for Driving under a suspended license.

• Derrek C. Quigley, 33, of 602 Glenwood Ave., 18 months to five years for corruption of a minor. One to three years for indecent assault.

Seven people were sentenced to Lycoming County prison. They are:

• Harry Walker, 32, of 412 High St., 80 to 175 days for possession of a controlled substance.

• Kiara S. Lowe, 25, of Philadelphia, 10 to 24 months, 24 months probation, drug and alcohol assessment and 50 hours of community service for possession with intent to distribute and criminal use of a communication facility.

• Shakur Smith, 19, of 1536 Louisa St., six to 24 months, 12 months probation for possession with intent to distribute.

• David Ransom, 34, of 312 Park St., six to 23 months and 24 months probation for delivery of a controlled substance.

• Curtis Hoover, 28, of 16838 Route 6, Mansfield, 72 hours to six months, 12 months probation, a $1200 fine, DUI education, and 50 hours of community service for DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license.

• Sean D. Beam, 37, of 2038 Riverside Drive, nine to 21 days for furnishing drug free urine.

• Duan A. Forsythe, 55, of 542 S. Pine Run Road, Linden, One to three days for public drunkeness. Six months probation for DUI.

Four people were sentenced to intermediate punishment. They are:

• Brandon D. Hinkal, 42, of 2940 Heshbon Road, 60 months intermediate punishment, a mental health assessment, and a drug and alcohol assessment for possession with intent to distribute.

• Myeesha S. Porter, 35, of 635 Second St., six months intermediate punishment, $1300 fine, DUI education, drug and alcohol assessment and 50 hours of community service for DUI.

• Charles N. Kohler, 17, of 1781 Quinshuckeny Road, Linden, two weeks to 6 months intermediate punishment, a $1,000 fine, DUI education, and a drug and alcohol assessment for DUI. Twelve months probation for disorderly conduct.

• Alycia A. Rose, 25, of 409 S. Main St., Apartment No. 1, Jersey Shore, six months intermediate punishment, a $200 fine, DUI education, a drug and alcohol assessment and 50 hours of community service for DUI and driving without a license.

Six people were sentenced to probation. They are:

• Kyle M. Horn, 28, 24 months probation and $300 in restitution for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

• Ashley Sortman, 33, of 1733 Lincoln Dr., 18 months probation and a $300 fine for retail theft.

• Joycelyn V. Blanchard, 39, of 328 Government Place, Unit No. 2, 12 months probation for retail theft.

• Ryan P. Bower, 34, of 735 W. Fourth St., Apartment No. 2W, six months probation, a $300 fine, a drug and alcohol assessment, DUI education and 75 hours community service for DUI.

• Levi A. Bennett, 30, of 1308 Allegheny St., Apartment No. 4, Jersey Shore, six months probation and 40 hours of community service for animal neglect.

• Charles E. Berry, 29, of 335 Center St., Apartment No. 106, Lock Haven, six months probation and 40 hours of community service for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Four people were sentenced to pay fines or restitution.

• Dayvi J. Castillo-Salas, 23, of Bronx, New York, a $500 fine for attempted identity theft.

• Elijah F. Cushon, 48, of SCI Somerset, a $300 fine for possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Palmer Baldwin, 36, of Sandy, Oregon, a $300 fine for public drunkenness.

• Jeffrey Green, 57, of 400 Lycoming St., Apartment No. 601, guilty without further punishment and $19 in restitution for retail theft and disorderly conduct.
