26 people sentenced for various crimes in Lycoming County

Twenty-six people have been sentenced for various crimes in Lycoming County court.

Two people were sentenced to state prison. They are:

• Calvin T. Charles, 32, of 765 W. Fourth St., Apartment No. 1F, 18 to 36 months in state prison for possession with intent to distribute; 18 to 36 months in state prison for a second conviction of possession with intent to distribute; and 18 to 36 months in state prison for a third conviction of possession with intent to distribute.

• Rasheem Johnson, 39, of 7/11/80, unlisted address, six to 12 months in state prison for criminal use of a communication facility; six to 18 months in state prison for possession with intent to distribute; and six to 18 months in state prison for a second conviction of possession with intent to distribute.

Eight people were sentenced to county prison. They are:

• Nadir J. Edwards, 24, of Philadelphia, 200 to 400 days in county prison for possession with intent to distribute.

• Miguel W. Knight, 40, of 610 Grace St., 322 days to 23 months in county prison, drug and alcohol assessment and 50 hours of community service for possession with intent to distribute.

• Brandon I. Velez, 22, of Benton, 10 days to 12 months and 25 hours of community service for unsworn falsifications.

• David L. Scipp, 55, of 213 Campbell St., 72 hours to 6 months in county prison, a $1,250 fine, DUI education, a drug and alcohol assessment, and 50 hours of community service for DUI and driving on a suspended license.

• Alicia K. Koch, 42, of 229 W. Fourth St., third floor, 72 hours to six months in county prison, a $1,000 fine, DUI education, a drug and alcohol assessment and 100 hours of community service for DUI; 12 months probation for reckless endangerment of another person.

• Stanley W. Vantassei, 60, of 28 Gladys Lane, Lot 3, Trout Run, eight days to 12 months in county prison, Anger management assessment, drug and alcohol assessment, and 25 hours of community service for terroristic threats.

• Ryan J. West, 27, of 336 Brick Church Road, Liberty, 13 to 27 days in county prison and 50 hours of community service for criminal trespass.

• Malik Hunter, 22, of Lebanon, two to four days in county prison for possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Four people were sentenced to intermediate punishment. They are:

• Danielle C. Cohick, 31, of 10 Harer Park Road, Jersey Shore, six months of intermediate punishment, a $1,000 fine, DUI education, and a drug and alcohol assessment for DUI; 36 months intermediate punishment, 50 hours of community service and a $1,000 fine for DUI.

• Rachel L. Ossont, 48, of 1123 Cemetery St., Apartment No. 2, Jersey Shore, 48 months of intermediate punishment, a drug and alcohol assessment, and 50 hours of community service for possession with intent to distribute.

• Kevin E. Frey, 48, of 101 Boak Ave., Lot 23, Hughesville, six months of intermediate punishment, a $1,000 fine, a drug and alcohol assessment and 75 hours of community service for DUI.

• Owen W. Moore, 29, of 3575 Pine St., Cogan Station, six months intermediate punishment, a $300 fine, a drug and alcohol assessment, DUI education, and 50 hours of community service.

Ten people were sentenced to probation. They are:

• Kristina F. Nau, 33, of 3392 Route 87, 36 months probation, $1,120 in restitution, and 50 hours of community service for defiant trespass and theft by unlawful taking.

• Valentino L. Anderson, 19, of 134 Oliver St., Apartment No. 6, Jersey Shore, 36 months probation for receiving stolen property and motor vehicle theft.

• Gabriel Castro, 20, of Scranton, 24 months probation, a $100 fine, anger management assessment, and 50 hours of community service for simple assault and criminal mischief.

• Alonzo J. Triplin, 44, of 344 Campbell St., Apartment No. 2, 24 months probation, anger management assessment, drug and alcohol assessment and 50 hours of community service for simple assault.

• Jeffery S. Spong, 43, of 6418 Route 287, Jersey Shore, 18 months probation, anger management, online retail theft course, and 50 hours of community service for theft by unlawful taking.

• Nicole M. Patnaude, 37, of Catawissa, 18 months probation for retail theft.

• Robert W. Jarvis III, 23, of 460 William St., Apartment No. 7, 12 months probation, anger management assessment, mental health assessment and 25 hours of community service for simple assault.

• Gage Laubscher, 29, of 330 E. Main St., Lock Haven, 12 months probation, a drug and alcohol assessment and 50 hours of activity for possession with intent to distribute.

• Sandra K. Doane, 63, of 2409 Brushy Ridge Road, six months probation, and $179 in restitution for retail theft.

• Morgan A. Gaston, 38, of 21 W. Fourth St., Apartment No. 6, six months probation and a drug and alcohol assessment for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Two other people were sentenced. They are:

• Crystal R. Nichols, 46, of 113 South Main St., Muncy, guilty without further punishment for disorderly conduct.

• Ashayla P. Minus, 24, of 2624 W. Fourth St., a $25 fine for disorderly conduct.
